The rules for using Guildo, including subscriptions, cancellations and refunds.
These terms are a working draft provided for product purposes. Have them reviewed by a qualified Nigerian legal practitioner before the platform goes live.
Using Guildo
Guildo provides property scam screening, property listings, a directory of service providers, community security reports, an affordability calculator and an everyday AI assistant. Listings, reviews and reports are contributed by users; content is community-submitted and is not independently verified unless explicitly marked otherwise. Always confirm details and inspect properties in person before making any payment to a third party.
Accounts and responsibilities
Customer accounts are free. Artisan, Agent, House Owner and Both accounts require identity verification (NIN and BVN) and a paid monthly subscription. You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you post and for keeping your login details safe. Do not use the platform for fraudulent listings, fake reviews, or false security reports — such content will be removed and accounts may be terminated.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Base44 Payments. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you subscribe and are charged in Nigerian Naira (NGN).
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where a service was not delivered due to a fault on our side, in which case we will review a pro-rata refund request made within 7 days of the charge. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights under Nigerian law.
Limitation of liability
Guildo is an information and connection platform. We are not a party to any agreement between users, landlords, agents or service providers, and we are not liable for losses arising from transactions, disputes or decisions made based on content posted on the platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app before taking effect, and continued use afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
